DESCRIPTION:Join the Faculty Center for a group lunch hour at Mills Dining Hall! We will meet the second Thursday of each month from 12-1pm. Faculty Center staff will hold a table for anyone that wants to talk\, eat\, and take a break with your fellow faculty members. RSVPs appreciated to help us get an idea of how many seats to try and save\, but not required. Cost of lunch required for entry into Mills Cafeteria.

SUMMARY:Beyond the Basic Board: Advanced Discussions in Brightspace
DESCRIPTION:This session combines pedagogical strategies with demonstrations of advanced functions and tools for Brightspace discussions. It covers both how to structure discussion activities (small groups\, peer review\, role-play\, reflection) as well as how to incorporate groups and release conditions. We’ll also explore Brightspace’s VideoNote tool for audio/video based discussions\, plus Brightspace Lumi for generating discussion prompts based on your specific course content. Join in person in Milne Library\, room 214 or on Teams.
