Future Ready Fellows: Linking Course Learning Experiences and Career Competencies (2021-2024)

In this project, staff from the Faculty Center and the Career Planning and Networking Center worked with faculty to provide opportunities for students to reflect on how they can apply course activities in the context of how they can leverage their experiences after completing a course and after their time in college to help students become more future-ready.

Faculty worked together to explore multiple methods for supporting students in making connections between their coursework and the skills they can use after college. The challenge lies in equipping students with the vocabulary to articulate the connections between their classroom experiences and the skills and competencies that will help them succeed both in the job market and with their passions they pursue.

Faculty Center Fellows Program (2015-2019)

Faculty Fellows were identified campus experts in one chosen educational technology, such as classroom clickers, Voicethread, R, and Qualtrics. Faculty were identified who would be willing to lead a mid-day seminar once per semester to share information about that technology and be an on-call expert when questions arose.
