SUNY Oneonta Presentations and Award at CIT 2024

Each year, the SUNY Faculty Advisory Council on Teaching and Technology (FACT2) convenes the Conference on Instruction and Technology, bringing together faculty, librarians, educational developers, IT staff, and others from across the SUNY system to share strategies and approaches. CIT 2024, held in May at the University of Buffalo, focused on Creating Inclusive Innovation in Higher Education and featured keynotes from Tracie Addy (Rutgers) and Derek Bruff (University of Mississippi). FACT2 also sponsored a day-long AI Symposium leading up to the conference, with remote and in-person attendance at sessions devoted to generative artificial intelligence available.

Faculty and staff from SUNY Oneonta shared ideas and accepted awards at CIT 2024. Chilton Reynolds, Director of the Faculty Center for Teaching, Learning & Scholarship, was honored for Excellence in Administrative Leadership: State-Operated and Statutory Campuses. Chilton (pictured below, with FACT2 Chair Judith Littlejohn) is a committed and generous leader on our campus and across SUNY more broadly, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to cheer him on.
